At the same time, programmers need to know how each of the cloud providers works, so that their code, and sometimes entire systems, can be properly adjusted to a particular solution.
More importantly, data processing in the cloud has a clear impact on the work of a company, website, or even individual employees. The cloud means that e-commerce websites don't have to plan to buy servers before peak user activity, such as the holidays, to accommodate sudden changes in traffic. Scale server capacity automatically or manually a few days before an expected increase in web traffic.
It should also be noted that startups can start using these services quickly and cheaply. Their programmers don't have to deal with differences between devices and operating systems or their different versions.

Additionally, k8s is supported by most public clouds.
This shows the importance of containers but also shows how difficult it is to maintain such an infrastructure. Containers are a new way to deploy online services. Create a zip file image that contains everything you need to launch the software. Regardless of its location, its content will always remain the same.
The same is the case with containers. They are lightweight virtual operating systems that contain all programming code, all configurations, and additional services. This makes them mobile and easy to scale. You don't even need to know where the container is running. Today, programmers can write their code in any language and if it works in our system, it will work anywhere. It automates work and allows businesses to grow faster.
Equally important to the industry are new Narrowband IoT (NB-IoT) technologies and the launch of LTE Cat M1. The first solution is an LPWAN (Low Power Wide Area Network) technology standard, developed to run a wide range of mobile services, particularly related to device-to-device communications. The latter is a data transfer network for mobile service providers that provides faster transfer (up to 1 Mb/s) and supports Voice over LTE (VoLTE) applications. It may also have mobile and portable applications (eg telematics, fleet management).
The launch of these technologies and the deployment of 5G will make it possible to control technological processes from the "cloud". Edge locations are small data centers located close to customers. Instead of using a large, partially overloaded data center, you can set up 20 smaller servers, reducing costs and increasing capacity as users start connecting to nearby servers.
It seems that the future of cloud computing is bright. Currently, technology is developing very quickly and is more affordable than ever before. More and more industries are turning to cloud computing because it is much easier to operate than their own data centers. Server maintenance simply becomes obsolete. It has been replaced by code maintenance, which works in conjunction with a server load monitoring system. This is the demand of our time and it is a fact that we cannot argue with.
